World Space Week 2026 is under way from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," built around how falling launch costs could open space access to more countries and organisations. Google noted the event with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit got involved with the week.

The European Space Agency partnered with Pokemon GO to offer a special Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also joined activities connected to the event. World Space Week is the largest annual space event on Earth, marked in more than 90 countries.
