UAE Team Emirates XRG received a first yellow card of the 2026 Tour de France following the stage penalty. A team mechanic was fined and handed a official card after a technical problem with rider Isaac del Toro during Stage 2. Del Toro went on to win the stage for the squad after a hard chase. The penalty was handed down by race officials after the occurrence. The team announced it will cover the penalty and acknowledge the card.
