Rogers Communications completed its buyout of the final 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.
The deal renders Rogers the only owner of MLSE.
This move expands Rogers' authority over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and additional teams within the company's athletic portfolio.
Multiple outlets reported the closed transaction on Monday.
Rogers before kept a primary stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
