Southern Water will introduce a restriction on hosepipes in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight starting July 10. The same measures began in Kent earlier this month. The company cites hot weather and low rainfall as the primary cause.
The ban covers private watering, garden hoses, and cleaning vehicles. If dry conditions persist, officials could expand the rules. Southern England already has additional water-saving steps in some regions.
