Prime Minister Mark Carney opened the Canada Investment Summit in Toronto on Tuesday.

He used the event to unveil a brand new Productivity Mega Deduction. The deduction is a tax incentive meant to make Canada the most attractive G7 country for business investment. Officials called it a pivotal move.

Carney also made clear that visa rules will be talked through with the European Union. Police laid charges after a protest at the summit.
