Two people died suddenly at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday when vehicles slammed into each other on the major Highway 401. Both drivers were killed instantly. Five more occupants suffered minor injuries. Thick road debris covered the fast lanes. Cleanup crews had the scene cleared. Authorities blocked off that stretch of road. Investigators left the site by around eleven o’clock.
