IOM and Human Concern International Partner to Fight Human Trafficking

Geneva/Doha, 6 November 2025 – The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Human Concern International (HCI), Canada's oldest Muslim relief organization, have signed a USD 1 million Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement aims to enhance protection systems and provide essential humanitarian aid to those impacted by crises, displacement, and human trafficking.

Rooted in Islamic principles, especially Zakat and Sadaqah, this partnership demonstrates a shared dedication to combat exploitation and uphold human dignity.

Joint Commitment to Combat Exploitation

Through this collaboration, IOM and HCI pledge to eradicate human trafficking, fight all forms of exploitation, and protect the rights of vulnerable groups.
