The legendary actor Dan Aykroyd, known for Ghostbusters and Coneheads, continues to explore strange and mysterious topics as the host of The UnBelievable. The show returns to the History Channel for its third season on November 7, featuring real-life mysteries and unusual tales from human history.
Each new episode brings to life bizarre yet factual stories using interviews, dramatic recreations, and archival footage. The premiere episode, titled Strange Sightings, includes chilling narratives about eerie clowns terrorizing suburban neighborhoods and the haunting legend of “America’s Most Haunted Highway.”
“That was one of my favorites. I had heard about the I-4 highway story before the researchers proposed it for the show. I thought, ‘wow, this is a real thing.’ People I had spoken to many years ago told me this story. As for the clowns, I still don’t know, man. The fact there was this rumor in suburban America, and these clowns were appearing everywhere. Very haunting, very eerie, very creepy.”
Aykroyd also shared his personal fascination with the paranormal, touching upon his family’s deep roots in spiritualism and a spooky encounter with Britney Spears that remains one of his most memorable brushes with the supernatural.
The interview reveals Dan Aykroyd’s enduring passion for the supernatural as he previews new eerie stories in The UnBelievable and reflects on personal connections to the otherworldly.
