Celebrity Traitors' Alan Carr calls fellow contestants ‘thick’ for this jarring reason

Alan Carr Jokes His Celebrity Traitors Co-Stars Were 'Thick'

Comedian Alan Carr has lightheartedly called his Celebrity Traitors castmates "thick" after none managed to realize he had been secretly eliminating them throughout the series.

Before the finale, Carr traveled to Florida, calling himself "the most hated man in the UK" after killing off Celia Imrie and his friend Paloma Faith on the BBC show. Speaking to Heart Radio in Orlando, where he was visiting Universal Studios with his niece and nephew, he joked:

"That’s why I’m in America. I’m the most hated man in Britain."

Reactions and On-Set Humor

Alan confessed he couldn’t believe his celebrity friends never guessed he was the Traitor, adding:

"I’ve got loads of celebrity friends, but are they thick? I’m giggling when people are murdered. When they don’t come down for breakfast, I just stick cheese in my mouth."

At 49, the comedian admitted his time as a fictional TV killer was both amusing and exhausting.

"It’s stressful murdering every day… but I’m getting a taste for it."

Other Contestants’ Reactions

Fellow contestant Cat Burns, 25, told The Times she’s been coping with the sudden fame by staying mostly at home, describing the situation as "a bit mad".

Recently banished player Kate Garraway praised Carr’s chaotic energy, predicting his victory on BBC Radio Two:

"I think he’s going to win. I’m going to say it now."

She added that his uncontrollable giggles during challenges might have been what kept him safe throughout the competition.
