Rockstar Games has confirmed that the release of Grand Theft Auto VI has been postponed to November 2026, extending the wait for fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the popular series.
"The extra time will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve."
Interest in the sixth installment of the franchise has remained strong since the first trailer premiered in December 2023. Originally expected to arrive this year, the game was already delayed once in May 2024, when Rockstar cited the need for more development time.
