Jessica Simpson revealed the extensive makeup transformation she underwent to portray a botched plastic surgery patient in Ryan Murphy’s Hulu series All’s Fair. The singer and actress shared insights into the time and effort behind her character LeAnn’s exaggerated, failed cosmetic procedure look.
In an Instagram post on November 5, Jessica described the process:
“It took an incredible village and six hours in prosthetics to bring her to life for @hulu’s #AllsFair and wow… what a ride.”Her makeup included swollen cheeks, a nose piece, sunken eyes, and oversized lips, showcasing a dramatically worsened appearance due to bad Botox.
Jessica reflected on the opportunity to act in such a unique role:
“No one has ever given me the chance to do something like this before, and I loved it. I hope you all see Lee-Ann’s heart—and her strength—as much as I felt it.”
She expressed appreciation toward key collaborators:
“You allowed me to disappear into a character with real depth and emotion.”
Ahead of the series release, Jessica—mother to Maxi (13), Ace (12), and Birdie (6) with ex Eric Johnson—shared admiration for her own ability to authentically portray the complex character of LeAnn.
