Jeff Bezos, known for revolutionizing global commerce with Amazon, is shifting focus to fashion through the Bezos Earth Fund. The fund has partnered with the CFDA Foundation to finance The Next Thread Initiative, a three-year program designed to accelerate sustainable innovation and education in fashion across the United States.
“This collaboration offers tangible support for building a more sustainable future for fashion,” said Steven Kolb, president and CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
Kolb also highlighted the significant role of Lauren Sanchez Bezos, Jeff Bezos’s wife, who leads the Bezos Earth Fund. He praised her "ability to turn ideas into action and drive innovation."
