President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan announced during a press briefing that Kazakhstan intends to establish a branch of a Kazakh university in Turkmenistan. This statement came following negotiations with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

"We agreed to open the branch of a Kazakh university on Turkmen soil," Tokayev stated.

The initiative aims to strengthen educational ties and cooperation between the two countries, facilitating academic exchange and development.
