Road Expo Scotland and Bridges Scotland 2025: A Premier Infrastructure Showcase

Road Expo returns to Glasgow next week alongside Bridges Scotland, with the event running from 26 to 27 November at the SEC Glasgow. This is a free event that brings together professionals from the road, transport, traffic, and bridges industries.

Organized in partnership with Transport Scotland, the event will feature keynote speeches and presentations from industry leaders. For the third year in a row, transport secretary Fiona Hyslop will deliver the opening keynote address on Wednesday, 26 November at 10:00 am.

“We are delighted to be welcoming back our partners and exhibitors for what promises to be our most comprehensive event to date. The quality and breadth of the conference programme reflects the critical importance of sustainable infrastructure development in Scotland.” – Gordon Kirk, Sector Head of Transport Exhibitions, Hemming Group

Following Ms. Hyslop's address, Michael McDonnell, Director of Road Safety Scotland, will speak about road safety as a lifelong learning process. His presentation sets the stage for two days filled with cutting-edge content and discussions.

This year's Road Expo program will focus heavily on reducing operational carbon emissions within Scotland's road network. On the first day of the event, a high-profile panel discussion will gather senior figures from Transport Scotland, Amey, WSP, and Kier. They will explore practical approaches to lowering carbon emissions across the network. The session will be moderated by Dominic Browne, editor of Highways Magazine.

The event promises to be a key platform for advancing infrastructure solutions and fostering collaboration between industry professionals.
