The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NS/FS BiH) announced the completion of the conceptual design for the National Stadium in Zenica, marking the beginning of the construction phase for a major infrastructure project.

Project Details and Goals

The project aims to create modern facilities for all national teams, enhancing Bosnia's sporting environment and supporting the development of football in the country.

“I am pleased to share that the conceptual design for the national stadium in Zenica has been completed. This concept will serve as the basis for the subsequent preliminary design and main project documentation,” said NS/FS BiH President Vico Zeljković.

Future Plans

The complete project documentation is expected to be finalized by August 2026, after which construction will begin. The project is regarded as a crucial step in improving the long-term prospects of Bosnian football and benefitting the local club Celik.
