Rome – Marking a significant milestone in its digital transformation, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has introduced its first HR Avatar, an AI chatbot designed to assist employees globally.
The new AI tool, named "Ms FAO AI," functions as a virtual HR companion rather than a robot, emphasizing a people-first approach to improve service delivery.
“This is not only a technological advancement, but also a reflection of our collective attitude, our willingness to learn, to change, and to lead,” said FAO Director-General QU Dongyu.
Ms FAO AI offers multilingual support and operates 24/7, assisting FAO employees worldwide with making informed decisions and answering their questions.
By enhancing the reliability, inclusiveness, and accessibility of the Organization’s existing services, the HR Avatar helps deliver better outcomes for FAO Members and the communities they serve.
The launch of Ms FAO AI marks a transformative step in FAO's digitalization, providing employees with an intelligent, accessible HR assistant focused on improving service quality globally.
