The EbonyLife Group has released its new digital platform, EbonyLife ON Plus, designed to transform how audiences experience African creativity. The platform, founded by Mo Abudu, is available on the App Store and Google Play.
“EbonyLife ON Plus puts African stories back in African hands,” says Mo Abudu.
According to Abudu, the project offers more than streaming; it is “a space that celebrates every dimension of African creativity, from the stories we tell to the way we live, learn and connect.” She adds that users can expect a strong lineup of films and programmes each month.
EbonyLife ON Plus also presents original films, podcasts, and signature shows that highlight African excellence and creativity. Two films by Mo Abudu, Her Perfect Life and Iyawo Mi, explore themes such as identity, mental health, and the gap between personal image and reality. The thriller Baby Farm is available to international viewers and examines the dark underworld of human trafficking in Lagos.
“We pride ourselves on being more than a streaming platform... This is a celebration of African creativity,” says Abudu.
EbonyLife ON Plus introduces a new digital stage for African storytelling, blending bold narratives, star talent, and meaningful themes for global audiences.
