The FIFA World Cup will arrive in Canada next year, and several of the country’s top artists are helping celebrate the event through music. Canada Soccer has introduced a fresh initiative highlighting many of the nation’s leading musical talents working together on a new album inspired by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Toronto, Vancouver, and other North American host cities.
The project, titled Perfect Pitch, brings together Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Nelly Furtado, The Tragically Hip, and Zeds Dead under the production of Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” said Boi-1da.
The upcoming record will feature new songs, re-imagined versions of well-known tracks, and distinctive collaborations among Canada’s most celebrated performers. Its release is scheduled ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will kick off next June across North America.
