SEOUL, Nov 10 — K-pop singer Hyuna apologized to fans on social media after collapsing during a performance in Macau. The 33-year-old artist, whose real name is Kim Hyun-ah, fainted while performing her hit solo song "Bubble Pop."
A video shared online showed Hyuna collapsing midway through her performance before being helped offstage by her dancers and staff. The incident occurred shortly after a previous show.
“Although it was a short period since the previous performance, I wanted to show a good appearance, but I felt unprofessional.”
She mentioned she did not remember what happened during the collapse but felt sorry for fans who had come to see her. Hyuna added:
“I will try to build my stamina even more and work hard consistently.”
She reassured everyone of her condition, concluding:
“I hope everyone has a good night. Good night.”
Fans expressed worry after seeing posts where Hyuna was shown on a scale, criticizing herself for weight gain.
Hyuna collapsed during a Macau concert, apologized for dismaying fans, and promised to improve her health and stamina while reassuring supporters she is well.
