Elliot Page describes Chris Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey as an epic and extraordinary project. Many actors dream of working with Nolan, and Page has now collaborated with him twice.
Page first worked with Nolan on the 2010 film Inception, during a time when he was playing female roles before coming out as a trans man in 2020. This new collaboration marks a deeper and more meaningful experience for Page, who feels more comfortable in his own identity.
“I was so excited to be thought of for it and to be asked to come back to work with him,” Page shared at New York Comic Con. “I loved working with him on Inception and loved being a part of that movie. I was just completely jazzed and excited. I basically went and met with Chris and talked about the part and then sat in a room and read the script, and you know, it was of course a big 'Yes.'”
“Sadly, I can’t say much. But it was such a joy to come back, and to come back now, as you can imagine, being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable, just waking up every day and going to work. To kind of get to have a more Chris Nolan experience again now, that actually really meant so much to me.”
Page also mentioned traveling to remarkable locations during filming, highlighting that the project will be extraordinary.
The Odyssey is scheduled for release in theaters on July 17, 2026.
