Davina McCall, 58, revealed on social media that she underwent a biopsy after discovering a lump. The cancer was removed in a lumpectomy just weeks ago.
Davina received an outpouring of well wishes not only from fans but also from celebrity friends such as Amanda Holden and Penny Lancaster.
In November 2024, she announced she had been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare benign brain tumour, and underwent surgery to remove it.
She stated her cancer was caught "very very early" but she would require five days of radiotherapy in January as an "insurance policy" to stay cancer-free.
She expressed gratitude to doctors, nurses, her family, and fiancé Michael Douglas.
"I was very angry when I found out, but I let go of that and I feel in a much more positive place now."
Davina urged awareness with the caption:
"The message here, is know your boobs. Sending out huge love."
She first revealed her diagnosis during her "Dine With Davina" charity event in Southampton, which visibly shocked the audience.
She recounted how Lorraine Kelly had put signs on the doors reminding people to check their breasts, and how she followed the advice herself:
"Every time I went for a wee I did that. It was still there, and then one morning I saw myself in the mirror and thought ‘I’m going to get that looked at.’"
Davina McCall shared her health journey openly, emphasizing early detection and encouraging breast awareness while receiving strong support from her community.
