Big Brother Australia has returned with its raunchy reboot on Network 10, featuring 12 housemates officially entering the game. The show aimed to cast “everyday Aussies,” but one contestant’s reality TV ties have divided fans.
The show resumed its classic setting at the Gold Coast’s Dreamworld, hoping to engage both original fans and attract a new audience. During casting, the focus was on everyday Australians, explicitly avoiding influencers from recent shows like Married At First Sight and Love Island.
Among the 12 housemates, Holly Young, a 31-year-old model who calls herself a “unicorn,” stands out due to her reality TV connections. Fans discovered that she has links to Australia’s reality scene beyond Big Brother.
According to Daily Mail Australia, Holly was previously dating Luxe Listings star Gavin Rubinstein.
The couple publicly began their relationship in August 2024 but ended it a few months later.
Big Brother Australia's mix of genuine Aussies and reality TV veterans sparked debate among fans, highlighting ongoing tensions in reality casting choices.
