Sources close to Sheep Esports have confirmed that Kacper “Inspired” Słoma will join LYON for the 2026 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) season. The Polish jungler decided not to renew his contract with Flyquest but will remain in the LCS by signing with the Latin American organization.
Inspired, a two-time LCS MVP, received multiple offers, including opportunities to return to Europe and to continue playing in North America. Among the top contenders were LYON, Team Liquid, and a renewal offer from Flyquest. Ultimately, Inspired accepted LYON’s offer, which was the most lucrative.
LYON made a strong effort to sign Inspired, offering him one of the highest salaries in the league for 2026. The organization also committed to assembling a competitive roster, featuring midlaner Kang “Saint” Sung-in. They are actively pursuing a skilled AD Carry from South Korea to strengthen the team.
The offseason has been dynamic for LYON, as they announced the departure of most of their 2025 roster, including head coach Gabriel “Khynm” Roussy and strategic coach Tobías “Pointless” Riscica, who led the team to championships in 2023 and 2024.
“LYON is talking to proven LTA Head Coaches as potential replacements. They’re looking to return to their winning ways, a stark contrast from a disappointing debut in LTA.”
Inspired’s move to LYON marks a major shift in the LCS landscape, with LYON taking clear steps to rebuild a strong, championship-contending squad for 2026.
Author’s note: Inspired's switch to LYON signals both the team’s serious ambition to compete and the player’s commitment to staying at the top of LCS competition.
