Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao, often hailed as one of the greatest AD Carry (ADC) players in League of Legends history, has surprised fans by naming another player as the best in the role. Despite being widely regarded as the GOAT of ADCs, he passed the crown to a fellow competitor he believes has surpassed him.
In a TikTok video shared by lolesports, Uzi was presented with a list of top ADC players and asked to pick between them in a winner-stays-on challenge. Once Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk appeared among the names, Uzi quickly chose him as the top ADC, keeping him above other elite players such as Gumayusi, Jackeylove, Imp, Viper, Deft—and even Uzi himself.
The ADC position is vital in League of Legends, responsible for delivering consistent damage and turning fights in the late game. While Uzi once defined that style with his precision and mechanics, Ruler has set new benchmarks in consistency and performance, narrowing—and possibly surpassing—the longstanding gap between him and Uzi.
“Once Ruler was mentioned, there was little space for anyone to take his spot,” Uzi said, acknowledging Ruler’s dominance in the ADC role.
Though retired since 2023, Uzi remains a legend in the League of Legends community. He spent his career competing for top Chinese teams such as Bilibili Gaming, RNG, and EDward Gaming, leaving an enduring influence on how the ADC role is played even today.
Uzi, once considered the ultimate ADC in League of Legends, now names Ruler as the best ever, praising his consistent skill and dominance in the modern era of play.
