Last month, Intel revealed its "Panther Lake" mobile processor series, featuring up to 16 CPU cores divided into four P-Cores, eight E-Cores, and a four-core LPE cluster. Thanks to reliable Intel leaker @jaykihn0, clock speed details for these CPUs have emerged.
The flagship Core Ultra X9 388H is expected to reach a turbo boost of 5.1 GHz. This is notable given the 16 CPU cores and 12 Xe3 GPU cores on these SoCs, although the GPU frequency remains undisclosed.
The highest-end SKUs can be configured with TDPs up to 65 W or 80 W depending on OEM preferences. Stock PTH-H and PTL-U models are designed to fit within a 25 W TDP.
“The class labels (X9/X7/X5 and regular Core Ultra 9/7/5) are based on previously known SKU names.”
These new Intel processors showcase a balance of high core counts and impressive turbo frequencies suited for mobile platforms.
