Jessica Simpson has returned to acting after a 15-year break, appearing in Hulu’s legal drama “All’s Fair.” The singer and fashion designer takes on the role of Lee-Anne, a woman who seeks legal help from Kim Kardashian’s character, Allura Grant, following a botched plastic surgery.
Simpson shared glimpses of her dramatic prosthetic transformation on Instagram, revealing plump lips, intensified cheekbones, and a reshaped nose piece crafted for the role.
“I mean, this face,”
she joked in a behind-the-scenes video.
“Introducing this ultimate badass with a heart of gold. It took an incredible village (and six hours in prosthetics!) to bring her to life for @hulu’s #AllsFair and wow… what a ride.”
In the series’ third episode, Lee-Anne opens up about the reasoning behind her cosmetic surgery after learning her husband was unfaithful.
“We’ve been married almost three years. I knew he had had one affair — probably more. So when he had told me to get plastic surgery, I couldn’t say no.”
Reflecting on her comeback, Simpson admitted she surprised herself with how easily she stepped back into acting.
“I didn’t even know that I could do it,”
she told ETonline at the show’s premiere.
Jessica Simpson’s comeback in “All’s Fair” reveals both her acting range and a striking on-screen transformation that marks a confident new chapter in her career.
