Harvard football has had a commanding season, winning all seven games by at least three touchdowns. This dominant performance earned the Crimson the No. 9 spot in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 rankings, marking the highest rank in program history.
In addition to the Stats Perform ranking, Harvard was placed 13th in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll, their best position in that poll since at least 2011. The Crimson improved in the polls following a 31-10 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday, bringing their record to 7-0.
Harvard remains the only undefeated team in the Ivy League. Their closest competitors, Yale and Penn, currently hold 5-2 records. Harvard has yet to face either team this season; Penn will visit on November 15, and the traditional “The Game” against Yale will take place in New Haven.
This ranking comes as Ivy League teams become eligible for the FCS playoffs for the first time, adding significance to their performance this season. Harvard aims to extend its winning streak to eight with an upcoming road game against Columbia on Friday night.
