Australian football legend Brendan Fevola shared that he and his family recently experienced a strange home intrusion. The incident occurred over the weekend, just as he was preparing to take his youngest daughter, Tobi, roller-skating.
As they were leaving the house, Fevola turned around and was shocked to find an elderly woman and her dog standing in his hallway. The football star initially feared the worst, thinking his home was being targeted by intruders.
“Oh my god, I’ve had an intruder,” Fevola told the Fifi, Fev and Nick show. “I turn around and see this old lady with a dog walking into our house, and the dog just comes in and I go: ‘Hello?’”
At first, Fevola suspected the situation might be part of a setup. With Halloween weekend approaching, he wondered whether this could be a tactic to scout out his property.
“I was like: ‘Is this person scoping my house out? Get old people to come into my house and see what you’ve got and later on you get robbed.’ I was like: ‘Is this a set-up?’”
The event ended without harm, but left Fevola unsettled about the odd encounter and what might have happened.
