On 3 November, Abdoulkader Dileita, the African Development Bank Group’s Country Manager for Algeria, presented his credentials to Ahmed Attaf, Algeria’s Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, in Algiers.
The meeting highlighted the strong partnership between Algeria and the leading development finance institution on the continent.
Minister Attaf praised the successful collaboration between Algeria and the Bank Group, emphasizing the Bank’s support for key projects in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and human development.
He also reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment to strengthening this partnership to back the country’s efforts in economic diversification and sustainable development.
Dileita, an experienced lawyer and legal adviser with more than 27 years in public service and international organizations, thanked the Algerian government for its continued trust in the Bank Group.
“The African Development Bank will remain at Algeria’s side to support its national priorities through tailored financial instruments and technical expertise,” said Dileita. “Together, we will continue to foster inclusive growth and stronger regional integration for the benefit of all.”
