Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed confidence in making concrete progress in normalizing ties with Türkiye, according to News.Az and Armenian media reports.
“We have a very intensive dialogue with Türkiye, and I am very optimistic that we will gradually achieve tangible results,” Mirzoyan said during the international forum “Orbeli 2025: Building Peace and Multilateral Cooperation” in Yerevan.
Mirzoyan characterized Armenia’s foreign policy as balanced and diverse. He highlighted ongoing strategic partnerships and dialogue with key global players including the United States, Russia, and China. Armenia is also working on strengthening its relations with the United Kingdom and several European Union countries.
“We have repeatedly stated how much importance we attach to relations with our closest neighbors. We have excellent relations with Georgia and Iran, peace has been established with Azerbaijan, and we are working to elaborate it further,” Mirzoyan noted.
The minister concluded that Armenia’s balanced foreign relations benefit both the country and its neighbors.
