TV personality and singer Peter Andre has opened up about his concerns while raising his eldest children, Princess and Junior, who he shares with his ex-wife, Katie Price. He expressed his happiness at how both have matured and pursued their own paths in the entertainment industry.
Princess, now 18, stepped into the public eye with her own reality TV show earlier this year. Junior, 20, has followed his father’s lead by focusing on his music career. Despite their success, Peter admits that he once had a particular fear as they entered adulthood.
"Do you know what, I have to say, the biggest fear, I think for me, when they were growing up and people don't know what teenagers are like. I found them easy teenagers, but the problem is - it's not with those two - but the problem for parents, what I find is when they have a partner, you either like the partner or you push them away."
Andre said he felt relieved that he has been able to build positive relationships with both of his children’s partners, adding that this has eased one of his greatest worries as a father.
Peter Andre revealed his biggest parenting fear was about his children’s relationships but shared relief and pride in how maturely Princess and Junior have handled their lives.
