Florida Lotto players choose 6 numbers from 1 to 53, with a 1 in 22,957,480 chance to win the jackpot. Drawings take place Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The jackpot reached close to $2 million for the Wednesday, Nov. 5 draw after no one matched all six numbers in the Saturday, Nov. 1 drawing, which had a $1.25 million prize.
Saturday's draw occurred the day after Halloween and just hours before daylight saving time ended at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.
Drawings are held at 11:15 p.m. ET every Wednesday and Saturday, including holidays. The Nov. 5 drawing happened right after Election Day, which included some special elections in Florida.
"It could happen to you," as lottery officials often say.
We will see if the holiday season produces a winner or another rollover.
