Patti Smith recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she reflected on her influential album Horses and discussed her latest memoir, Bread of Angels, alongside stories from her childhood. During the show, she performed “Peaceable Kingdom” from her 2004 album Trampin’, accompanied by Tony Shanahan.
Next week, Smith will begin a North American tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of Horses, which Consequence ranked as the 17th greatest album of all time in 2022. The tour opens on November 10th in Seattle and includes stops in major cities across the U.S.
