Netflix insiders claim that actor David Harbour, known for his role as former police chief Jim Hopper in the globally acclaimed series Stranger Things, has faced serious allegations from his co-star Millie Bobby Brown.
According to reports, Harbour underwent an internal inquiry after Millie Bobby Brown allegedly filed a complaint accusing him of bullying and harassment on set. The actor, 50, was also rumored to be confronting personal issues linked to allegations of infidelity involving his estranged wife, singer-songwriter Lily Allen.
“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months,” a source said.
Despite the seriousness of the claims, the investigation did not reportedly involve any accusations of sexual misconduct. The outcome of the internal proceedings remains undisclosed.
While the singer’s new album allegedly references Harbour’s past behavior, sources close to the couple state that Allen continued to support him during what was described as a difficult and emotional period.
“Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time,” another insider shared.
Netflix declined to comment on any internal matters related to the investigation or its outcome. The platform is preparing to release the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which marks the culmination of a series defined by its intense character dynamics both on and off screen.
Reports suggest David Harbour faced internal allegations of misconduct from co-star Millie Bobby Brown, while Lily Allen publicly stood by him during a tense and personal chapter.
