NOOK GlowLight 4 Ocean Teal Edition Now Shipping
The Barnes & Noble NOOK GlowLight 4 Ocean Teal model is currently being shipped to customers who pre-ordered and is also available for new orders. The company announced this edition last month, and it has been open for pre-orders since then.
The e-reader is now in stock online. New orders will be dispatched within a few days, while those who pre-ordered have already received their devices.
Device Specifications and Design
This model is the same as the NOOK GlowLight 4 released in 2021, with the only difference being its new Ocean Teal color.

The screen has a recessed design, sitting below the bezel rather than flush with it. A factory-installed screen protector helps shield the plastic e-paper display by absorbing light instead of reflecting it, unlike glass screens.
Lighting and Controls
The device features a combination of white and amber LEDs to adjust the front-lit display and color temperature. Users control these settings through a dual-slider bar in the menu.
The front-lit display can only be set to turn on automatically based on the time of day, as the device does not have an ambient light sensor.
Physical page-turn buttons are located on both sides of the screen, curving inward toward the back, providing tactile navigation. The Home button with the letter “N” is positioned at the bottom and returns the user to the main screen.
