Isolated storms are bubbling up across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area could see some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both flagged the chance of wet weather. The storms are scattered and could bring showers to any local area.
Later Thursday night, skies may clear enough for residents to view a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be in view if conditions allow. The eclipse is expected to happen after the storms. Residents who plan to watch it should check for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both on the same night.
