The Seattle Seahawks promoted cornerback Trevon Diggs from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster. Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowl selection and former Dallas Cowboys player, gets a fresh shot at regular-season snaps with Seattle.

During the 49ers-Seahawks game on October 11, San Francisco wide receiver Mike Evans was spotted on camera reading Diggs' name off the back of his jersey in an apparent bit of sideline needle. The clip spread widely online, drawing a lot of focus to Diggs just days after his promotion to the active squad.
