Marvel unveiled a fresh look for the Punisher this week.
The design is featured in the crossover comic Predator vs. Punisher, set to arrive at stores in November.
In the same issue the anti‑hero poses beside revamped versions of Spider‑Man and Daredevil, each shown with a more striking style.
Actor Jon Bernthal, who portrays the Punisher, says he dives deep into the role and labels his preparation rigorous.
Fortnite has also added a Punisher skin and a Spider‑Man outfit for players.
Gamers can now wear both looks in the battle royale.
