Tottenham Hotspur finalised an £85 million deal for midfielder Mateus Fernandes on Friday. West Ham United accepted the offer after prolonged discussions. Fernandes passed his medical and signed the contract straight away. Manchester United made a bid earlier this year. Tottenham met West Ham’s valuation to close the deal. The midfielder will now link up with the squad before pre-season begins. The club confirmed the move after all documents were signed late on Friday night.
