Bitter feud, unpaid taxes and liquor license 'issue' at Festival of Arts kill Taste of Laguna - Los Angeles Times

Latest News About Hurricane Marie's waves bring emergency to Orange County beaches

Laguna Beach and other Orange County beach cities declared states of emergency. High tides pounded the coast. Residents found damaged homes and a tattered boardwalk. Waves were described as like cannonballs. The surf was generated by Hurricane Marie. It caused beach erosion and damage to Southern California homes. Crews are now working to halt further erosion and fix the shoreline.

Separately, Taste of Laguna has been canceled. The event was pulled because of a bitter feud, unpaid taxes, and a liquor license issue at the Festival of Arts.
