His record includes work for LGBTQIA+ rights and prior association with the Labor Party and Sex. In May he confirmed he said he is openly homosexual and has an Indonesian Muslim boyfriend. The result helped boost One Nation in South Australia as leader Bernardi secured a seat in the Legislative Council.
