Users worldwide report problems with Instagram including sign-in errors and slow feed loading. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports now noted. Both the app and website appear having problems simultaneously. Meta has yet to release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Reports matching have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
