Ed Harris complained initially about his limited part in the series in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was meaningless and demanded to quit. Harris told Variety, 'bluntly Get me the f- out of here' as he walked away. He later chose to return for Season 2 to return for Season 2. The show’s boss reworked the narrative and gave his character additional depth. That change made Harris decide to stay. Deadline now says he will appear again in the character.
