The private estate nursery operated on the Duchy lands in Lostwithiel, Cornwall following a half-century expansion plan and ongoing expansions featuring a newer extension, retail space, and an Orangery restaurant. Prince William visited the site in July 2023 to view the nursery extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Duchy revenue funds the Duke’s public, private, and charitable work. The nursery lies within the Duchy estate forming a key estate operation within Duchy lands which began public access in 1975. The site has grown through a 50-year plan.
