Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He ended the race in 26th place. The car hit hard but Elliott said the damage stayed minor. Later, Alex Bowman revealed he will step away after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may be filled by Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott solely talked about Bowman following his own crash, while steering clear of driver reshuffle topics.
